Workshop Description: This course teaches artists the essential components of a successful independent tour. This workshop will also provide artists with an overview of the touring merchandising process and alternative streams of income. Artists will examine what entrepreneurial framework is needed to be successful in today’s transformed creative industry and will learn how the post-digital age has revolutionized the touring process. Upon completion of this workshop artists will be able to apply the basic digital tools, marketing strategies and design their own tour.
